rock climbing and laguna 69

while around Huaraz went rock climbing twice. and also a small overnight trek to laguna 69 w/ some friends. good times on all counts.
infinite jest is still one of my favourite books ever. Rigoberta Menchu's book was was incredible (though you could skip some of the first half).

cordillera blanca, Peru

went trekking through the santa cruz trek, a four day walk through the cordillera blanca. about eight hours north of lima. amazing place.
