some more nights

this is Claudia, a 10 year old local girl who sells some wares like scarfs and necklaces. usually comes in to Reilly's when either Kenny, Tim, Jez or I are working and we giver drinks or sometimes some food. she gave me a necklace and i've bought a scarf off her as well. also gave her a copy of the Little Prince in spanish as a little present.



this is Jonathan, Claudias little brother, who usually only comes on weekends. cool kid who loves to muck around. hypo sometimes but funny

for Jez and Tim's farewell we had a Paca (local second hand clothes market) party. here we are in our great outfits. Jez, me, Tim, Shaun and Kenny. paid aboit 6 quetzales for my outfit (or about $1 australian). outside Irish bar where i work in Antigua

to promote the party we hired a horse and cart, got an esky full of beer and rode around Antigua in our fancy dress costumes telling people about it. here is one of the famous Guatemala chicken buses, full of colour.

the Luna de Miel. french creperie where i spend a bit of time everyday. actually, it's probably the first place i go by every single day in Antigua after leaving my place. run by Edouard. and on the back wall you can see the Barbas Amarillas flag, our footbal team.

another night another after bar drinks at someones place. on the way to Shaun's this time. that is Botran XL rum in Tim's hand... cheap, average local white rum

trying to fit Oriane, Martyn, Maria, Jeff and Tim into Jeff's scooter. didn't get far like that
