rest of mexico
so an update after a long, long while.... sorry about that. first off i give you the rest of Mexico from Puerto Escondido (Zicatela) to Zipolite to Huatulco to San Cristobal. then a bit later will start on Guatemala where i have been for the last month and a half.
this was my birthday drinks at the strike of midnight. w/ (l-r) James, Mel, me, Ana and Chad. had a bigger night w/ free drinks next day (my actual birthday)
chillin' w/ Anna in Zicatela
picture drawn in Manzanilla. went snorkelling there
Zipolite... freaking awesome
so one day we found that if you were lying on one of the hammocks and someone else touching the sand and you both touched you would get a mild electrical shock. played w/ this for about an hour. though it was the waxy hammock material and the humidity and air... next day saw the electrical cables running along little hut... still funny.
Maguei... also went snorkelling there. w/ even harder/better/faster/stronger... and more fish.
and after the beach it had started raining so we ducked out to this little cafe/bar only to realise about 6 that no one else was around and there were no taxis left into town (about 20 minutes away) so here we were walking in the rain (after a few drinks) when a ute (pick-up truck to non-aussies) w/ already 4 Mexicans in the back gave us a lift. great fun in the rain. massive smiles all around.
snorkelling in Magueui again.
Chad and I in San Cristobal (Mexico). great place there w/ loads to do. unfortunately got food poisoning one night and it just happened to be on Mexican independence day (15 of September) so spent the whole day sick but still went out for the grito at 11pm w/ Chad, Ana, James two french guys we met at hostel and a few others. good times

As always Dennis, you're so very talented. Nice to see the update. Looks like we'll be seeing you around Christmas and we can celebrate the birth of christ right, on a beach and hopefully under the influence :)
Thanks for the updates
Steph
OH YEAH!
Happy Birthday Dennis.
I love all the encouragement people are giving you with your drawings- no i don't think they're being cruel. You're definately improving, and there's no shame in moving back to colouring-in if you want an art-style re-fresher.
Keep up the bloggin'. Don't be afraid to include some more risk-ay photos of Anna ;)
Birthday High-5's.
