Singapore

so i have been in Singapore for the last two days.
plenty of walking... hours and hours each day. ended up at Sentosa today. cool place w/ the dragons, the beach (i kicked a soccer ball. alright!) , the skyrides and the view (besides the construction areas, but then again that seems to be all over Singapore) only spending a few minutes on net to send stuff.

so here is what was meant to be my first ukulele pic. i carry it everywhere (my ukulele that is), which incidentally led to me meeting a local today, Jimmy. then we got to chatting and he ended up taking me to the local university, SMU, musical composition workshop. there i saw a local symphony conductor leading a class of music students. each w/ their own composition and then a performance. saw three. Junjie, Eugene and Gillian showed their pieces. just violin, guitar and keyboards. cool.
anyways enough of that. here is the pic.

as you can see the person that took it cut off my top half. why?!

the second page from my sketchbook. done yesterday

the second photo of me w/ uke. notice the dragon ribcage behind me.

half a page of my sketchbook/journal from today.

Looking good Dennis my man.
Do you sleep with the ukelele as well? You don't want it to get stolen by some dodgy backpackers.
Love the dragon ribcage. Did it come from a real dragon?
